Effective April 22, 2010 a new EPA law went into effect.
This law specifies that contractors must be certified and follow EPA Lead-Safe
practices on homes built prior to 1978 that tests positive for lead. We
are a Lead-Safe certified firm. Following EPA Lead-Safe practices
increases the installation cost and results in additional fees. The EPA Lead-Safe practices do not have to
be followed if your home tests negative for lead. Although the
testing requirement cutoff is 1978, most homes built after 1960 do not contain
lead paint.
